For the last decade, technology has advanced so much that the way children spend their free-time differs from other generations. Most young people prefer to go to the cinema or to play video games at home. But which activity is better and more educational for them?
On one hand, video games have a lot of advantages. Firstly, they develop a lot of useful skills such as multi-tasking or communications. Since a lot of video games have the multi-player option, children can meet more people from around the world and develop their language learning skills. Another advantage to video games would be perseverance. Once you start a game you have to finish it or do it regularly in order to achieve more prizes , making the children more responsible. On top of that, they can also improve the reaction speed since most games require more attention to the surroundings.
On the other hand, watching movies has a lot of advantages for young adults. Firstly, it is a very relaxing activity that every person can do after a hard day since it does not require a lot of effort. On top of that, movies are a good way of developing your language learning skills since people can watch it without subtitles and practice their .............. abilities. Moreover, by watching a documentary, a person can also learn new things about different subjects such as history or geography or improve their creativity by coming up with new ideas. Last but not least, watching a movie is also a good way to hang out with your friends or family.
In conclusion, both movies and video games have advantages but it depends on one's preference how they spend their time. Either way, both activities can be educational and helpful.
