The way a parents raises their kids children is very important to their growth and to what type of personality they'll develop in the future. While there is no right way to raise a kid child, there are certain guidelines that tend to be followed, one of them regarding the way the parent should treat them depending on the kid's their gender. But should parents treat their kids differently depending on whether they are a boy or a girl?

On the one hand, boys and girls are very different from a biological standpoint. These differences show themselves not only in the appearances, but also in their abilities. Boys are generally faster and stronger, meaning that the average boy would be better at sports than the average girl. These distinctions had have led to competitions separating people based on gender, and to boys being more predominant in jobs that require physical labour.

On the other hand, today's society puts more and more accent on equality between genders, and treating girls differently than boys would be regressive. Both genders are seen as equals from an intellectual standpoint, and that should show by raising our kids children in the same way, putting accent on developing their aptitudes rather than teaching them gender norms.

In conclusion, while there is a reason behind the way parents treat boys differently than they do girls, there are also reasons behind why kids children should be treated the same no matter their gender.
