Video games and movies are both popular mediums for people, bot teenagers and, to a lesser extent, adults. Though they are both useful in their own way, which one would be better from a personal development standpoint?

On the one hand, movies tell stories. They tell stories of different people, be their real or imaginary, and by doing so they teach their audiences values. By watching movies, people get to see different people's view on life, what values they had, and how those values affected them. By doing so, the viewer gets to question their own values, sometimes even going as far as changing them, leading to personal growth.

On the other hand, video games are also helpful when it comes to growth. Depending on the genre, they can help you develop your analitical skills, they can make you think and make decisions quicker, and they're especially helpful when it comes to training your eye to hand coordination.

In conclusion, both video games and movies help in personal development in their own, unique way.
