A video game is an electronic game that involves interaction with user interface to generate visual feedback on a two- or three-dimensional video display device such as a touchscreen, virtual reality headset or monitor TV set. Snce the 1980s, video games have become an increasingly important part of the entertainment industry, and whether they are also a form of art is a matter of dispute whereas a movie is is a visual art used to simulate experiences that communicate ideas, stories, perceptions, feelings, beauty or atmosphere by the means of recorded or programmed moving images along with other sensory stimulations. The word "cinema", short for cinematography, is often used to refer to filmmaking and the film industry, and to the art form that is the result of it The moving images of a film are created by photographing actual scenes with a motion-picture camera, by photographing drawings or miniature models using traditional animation techniques, by means of CGI and computer animation, or by a combination of some or all of these techniques, and other visual effects.

On one hand movies are more complex then videogames because they are a cultural artifacts created by specific cultures. They reflect those cultures and affect them.Movies are considered to be an important art form, a source of popular entertainment and a powerful medium for educating citizens. The visual basis of a film gives it a universal power of communication. Some of them have become popular wordwide attractions through the use of dubbing or subtitles to translate the dialog into other languages. However, videogames don’t have such a complex backround when it comes to cultural importance. Also the history of video games goes as far back as the early 1950s and since then the video game “culture” has evolved, hand in hand with the internet culture and the increasing popularity of mobile games.

On the other hand, people tend to pretend video games more then movies because video games are basically new worlds where we can decide what we do in it and have more control. The players can also be different than they really are and it makes them more positive by doing more than they can in real life. But the question is,which one is more benefic for us?Watching a movie can be revitalizing and it allows you to disconnect relax, have a good time and it also helps people face their fears and become aware of their fears so that they can work on overcoming them.Video games have some cool benefits too:they could improve your vision, they could help you become a better leader and they might slow down the aging process.I read a study and it said:”So-called "brain games" involving problem-solving, memory, and puzzle components have been shown to have a positive benefit on older players. In one study, just 10 hours of play led to increased cognitive functioning in participants 50 and older-improvement that lasted for several years.”Pretty cool right?

In conclusion, both video games and movies can help you learn a lot of important things, but it is up to you which one do you prefer.
