It happened a long time ago, but I can still remember that horrendous moment as if it was wereyesterday. I was 9 years old when I found out that I was dangerously ill. I’m jesting. Staphylococcus aureus is a Gram-positive, round-shaped bacterium that is a member of the Firmicutes, and it is a usual member of the microbiota of the body, frequently found in the upper respiratory tract and on the skin. Mine was situated in my throat which was quite problematic since the doctor said that it could spread through breath, which meant that I had to wear a doctor........... mask. The treatment plan involved taking pills to stop the infection from spreading. My father took care of me meticulously and followed the prescription to a T. With how things were going, I could only hope that I’d get better in no time. Buuuuuut that’s not how things happend. Apparently the treatment FAILED and I was supposed to get 10 shots of penicillin for 10 days in... the... butt. Embarrassing, yes, but nevertheless necessary. A fight to the death was about to take place, it was either me or the bacteria, and I wasn’t going to back away from it. I prepared my shots of penicillin, my only weapons were the strength of my buttocks and that cursed syringe. Finally, a worthy opponent, our battle would be legendary! Our clash took place in the hospital and the nurse was my one and only reliable sidekick for she was the holder of the holly potion ( penicillin). We fought with courage and my warrior screams could be heard in the black of night. The enemy was strong, and the pain was unbearable, and just when I was about to give up hope, the white wizard came to my aid and gave me the liquid serumof immunity ( anesthetic). I continued the war with the now new...... attained ability and came out victorious when the enemy finally gave in.
With the aid of my helpers I managed to disintegrate the distasteful creature that found its way into my perfectly healthy self. Having my invador beaten at last, I was able to continue my journey without the lingering fear of what could have happened, have had I not won the battle.
