People should not hang out with those who are significantly poorer or richer.

I think the statement "People should not hang out with those who are significantly poorer or richer", on the one hand is false, but on the other hand is true.
On the one hand is false because in this society should be about humanity, to help all people to be normal and live in harmony. In this world all people should be equals. Poorer people try to live with what they have instead of worrying about the next day, when richer people don't have any problem and this is considered a criterion for separation between people. I think a rich man can be a friend with a poor man. They are not the same, but the poor man is rich in his soul and they can become best friends, irrespective of monetary value.
On the other hand is true because that can cause some problems. When you are friendly and rich you can have many friends. You can have poorer people who ask for money every day or who invites you to a restaurant and you pay for food. In this world not all people can be equals, because some poor people don't know how to use the moneys. For example a street man receives some money from a good man and he goes fast to market to buy some food, instead of raising more to take courses and to have a job.
In conclusion, the given sequence on the one hand is false and on the other hand is true, but this notion can be interpreted differently from one person to another.
